Servicing

All vehicles require regular maintenance and service. We offer a full range of service levels from a simple oil & filter change, through to an interim service or a full service. We pride ourselves on quality servicing using top quality OE specification parts and equipment providing the customer with satisfaction and peace of mind.

We can service vehicles of any age including those still under manufacturers warranties, usually at a fraction of the cost of a main dealer service. This will not not invalidate your manufacturer's warranty.

Repairs

We can carry out general repairs to any make and model of vehicle from simple bulb changes through to suspension component replacement through to welding and head gasket replacement.

No job is too big or too small for us, even the simplest of repairs or adjustment can make the world of difference to your driving experience.

MOTs

The MOT test is a legal requirement and requires your vehicle to be annually tested to ensure it is roadworthy and safe.

We arrange MOT testing for our customers locally. We take and collect the vehicle on your behalf for your convenience. If any repairs or adjustments are required we can carry these out for you for your vehicle to obtain it's pass certificate.

Engine Diagnostics, ABS & Airbags

All modern petrol and diesel engines rely on on board computer systems. From time to time warning lights can appear on your dashboard. Using up to date diagnostic equipment enables us to identify the cause of the problem. Having identified the cause of the problem we can rectify the issue and reset the warning lights.

Our modern diagnostic equipment is connected to an online database which covers all makes and models of vehicles ensuring the most accurate diagnosis using the most up to date information.

With most modern cars have ABS (advanced braking systems) and airbags on board. Our diagnostic equipment can be used to identify any faults with these systems

Tyres

We can supply tyres fitted and balanced for all makes and models of vehicle. We can provide all kinds of tyres from budget brands through to named brands, specialist tyres for light commercial vehicles and performance low profile tyres for sports cars.

We also offer wheel alignment, steering and suspension checks to maintain your vehicle's performance and safety, also providing increased tyre life.

Exhausts

An under performing exhaust system can result in reduced efficiency and can lead to other problems for your car. Come in for a check - we can test, repair or replace car exhausts.

We offer a complete exhaust supply and fitting service for all makes and models of vehicle using quality exhaust systems and parts. Catalytic converters are a vital part of the vehicle's exhaust system which control emissions, if required these can be replaced / fitted independently of the rest of the exhaust system.

All our quality exhausts come complete with a 2 year guarantee.

Clutches

Clutches are an integral parts of any vehicle's gear box. Forge Garage have a full clutch fitting service using OE specification quality parts, we can also supply and fit modern dual mass fly-wheels which are fitted to many new vehicles.

Cam Belts

Cam belts (also known as timing belts) are an essential part of your vehicle's engine and need to be routinely inspected and changed if required. The cam belt is an integral part of the engine which keeps major components within the engine running smoothly.

The cost of replacing a cam belt could be as little as 5-10% of the repair costs following a failure. If in doubt of the condition of a cam belt, we advise that it is replaced. If the vehicle is regularly used in adverse conditions it may need to be replaced more regularly.

Batteries

Forge Garage are a Bosch Battery fitting centre. Bosch batteries always meet the high quality demanded by international original equipment manufacturers and deliver the performance needed for cold starts and the increased electrical demands of the modern vehicle.

Bosch have batteries for every requirement, every customer. Each individual battery within the Bosch range has been designed specifically for the type of vehicle as well as the vehicle's equipment drive-ability and climate.

Valeting Service

Forge Garage offer a full valeting service if required. We offer full internal and external valeting ensuring your vehicle shines.
